I love clothes, especially when they are picked out for me based on my style AND delivered to my doorstep. I’ve been getting Trendsend boxes for about two years now and although I may not buy everything in the box, I have to say that they have my style down pretty darn well. Without further ado, let’s check out what I received in the latest Trendsend box! (I apologize in advance for the grainy shots…my junior photographer begged to help me which was so sweet but the photos suffered a smidge.) Fall Trendsend Outfit #1
I am all about polka dots, one of my favorite patterns. As soon as I saw this shirt I knew that, unless it looked hideous, it was going to make its way into my closet. I loved the 3/4 sleeves and the crossover as well. My stylist, who happens to also be a Dana, paired this super cute top with 7 for all Mankind skinny jeans with a step hem. A step hem is when the front hem is shorter than the back – totally on trend this season.
Fall Trendsend Outfit #2
The stylist does know I live in Florida, so I was a bit perplexed about the BLANKNYC heavy sweater as part of one of the outfits. I do love sweaters and catch myself buying more than I need (that would be about 1) every season. There are too many cozy ones out there – like this one! I tried it on just to see how it would look. I felt it was way too boxy – no shape. I loved the floral applique and the color, as well as the back zipper – a VERY cool detail. If you live in colder climates, I’d recommend cozying up to this one!
The pants are super cool – coated ankle skinny denim by 7 For All Mankind. They are a super dark blue – Ink and when paired with the Z Supply pocket racer tank in light grey (alone – no sweater) this could totally pass for a Florida outfit.
Fall Trendsend Outfit #3
First of all, these joggers are great! They are a poly blend and can be dressed up or down. Everyone needs to own a pair of joggers. My stylist paired these with a Z Supply sleek jersey tank in white and the comfiest, fluffy jacket. Once again, being a Floridian, I have little use for this fluffy jacket, but had to try it on. It fit perfectly and I tried really hard to justify keeping it.
Voila – Fall Trendsend Box Review!
What’s great about Trendsend, is that they send a self-addressed, postage-paid envelope for you to return any unwanted items. You have 5 days to try everything on in the comfort of your own home – a perfect way to see if some of the pieces can integrate well into your current wardrobe!
Which pieces did you like best? Interested in trying Trendsend out? There is no styling charge like some other subscription services, which is nice! The only other difference is that you don’t get a discount if you buy all pieces, like some of the other ones.
