Announcing Pellerini’s First Ever Vlog
I am so behind the times. Video blogging, commonly known as “vlogging”, or creating a vlog, has been around for a few years now, and to be quite honest, there are a few reasons why I haven’t migrated toward it.
- I love to write, or type I should say. There’s something about hitting the keyboard and getting my thoughts out. The clicking of the keyboard is somewhat soothing and powerful at the same time.
- Vlogging would require me, in my mind, to have the perfect outfit on with my hair blown out and nails modestly painted a neutral color. Too much stress.
- I love to talk and am a bit concerned that I may talk too much…or babble…or get all tongue-tied.
I have since sucked it up and am going to take baby steps.
I have such a passion about a myriad of topics – fashion, parenting, wine, health, wine, beauty, did I say wine?! I decided that my first take on vlogging is going to be an “unboxing”. (Unboxing is when someone videotapes themselves literally unboxing something they have received.) Usually it is a subscription box, but in my case it will be a pair of M. Gemi shoes that I have been willing to arrive since the minute I ordered them!
So here it is (pseudo drumroll please…kidding). Please tell me what you think – about the shoes and the video. I am totally open to constructive criticism.
Are there any videos that you would like to see in the future? Maybe subscription box unboxing, recipes (which would involve the hubby – should be interesting!)?
