Ladies’ Night

This past Saturday was “Ladies’ Night” –  a night (once a year – I need to plan more frequently) that I invite for all of my girlfriends to get away for some good food, drinks and company!  I couldn’t believe that the last one was a year ago (shame on me).  BUT life does get in the “way”.  A lot has happened with my life in the past year.  I traveled a lot for my old job (that is a whole OTHER post), lots of happenings with the boys and family, packing and moving into a new home…it gets the best of us!  That was just me…

I invited 50-something of my gal pals for a night of dinner and beverages at a local cute spot.  As you know, not everyone is available on the particular night of any event, so there was a lot of fallout, but all in all it was truly a wonderful time!

All in all, it was such a great night.  We literally talked about “girl” topics, ranging from laser hair removal, kids, shoes, husbands, rompers, and so much more.  I don’t get to see my girlfriends as much as I would like to, but when I do it makes me appreciate even more what wonderful friends I have.
