How Can You Help Your Child’s Learning Development?

We all know that school is important because it equips us with the knowledge we need to achieve our dreams as adults. As a parent, you want nothing but the best for your child in terms of schooling so that when it comes time for them to leave the nest, they can succeed. However, sometimes a school education is insufficient. As a parent, there are a variety of things you can do to support your child’s learning. Take a look at these suggestions for ensuring your child’s education.

Don’t coddle them too much

Of course, there are many things in the world from which you want to protect your child. The major things you’d like to keep your kids away from are criminals and hazards. Allowing your child to live a coddled life, on the other hand, may result in a major wake-up call later in life. Let your children learn about current world events as they grow older so that they can understand that the world isn’t always butterflies and rainbows, even if they are protected. This will teach them street sense and make them wary, allowing them to look after themselves at all times.

Playing is the best way to learn

It’s true that children learn more quickly when they play and use their imaginations, so why should they be prevented from doing so? Allow kids to use the school playground equipment for an extra five minutes, and who cares if little Tommy wants to dress up as Elsa? They are still children at the end of the day, and they will learn a lot from playing and finding things for themselves. Remember that kids are also highly capable learners, so let them have fun! There are also a plethora of development encouraging toys you could give to your child, such as the digital learning resource called ABCmouse. Your child will be thrilled to be playing on your tablet or PC, and you can rest assured they are learning while doing so.

Take them travelling

Traveling around the world is a terrific way to learn a wealth of knowledge. It helps kids to see for themselves how magnificent the planet is, as well as how people in other parts of the world are not as fortunate as they are. It also promotes empathy and social awareness. It will demonstrate to them that in order to have a happy and healthy life, they must work hard and appreciate what they currently have. Traveling also encourages the study of new languages and the acceptance of diverse cultures. Remember to bring a camera and a scrapbook so they can reflect back on some happy memories!

Always encourage extra curricular activities

Because pursuing a career is typically something you’re enthusiastic about, it’s a good idea to promote your child’s participation in extracurricular activities as much as possible. People have a tendency to pursue occupations that are related to their childhood interests.

Applying this guideline to your lives will help your child’s learning abilities. Remember that play is the best way to learn, so promote it as much as you can!

SATURDAYS ARE FOR STELLA ❤️

Oh, hello there 👋 in case you’re new to my feed, this is Stella. She is an almost 3 year old goldendoodle from Stella, NC. No, we didn’t name her Stella because of the city she was born in. That was a complete coincidence!

She goes by many names - Stella, Stelladoodle, Stu Diddy, Stu, and Moose. Don’t ask 😂 (and whether she responds to any of those names is completely up to her.)

She’s finally graduating the puppy stages (I hope), but it is known that if you’re over and
👟you leave your shoes unattended
👜bag open
🧦socks on the floor
🧻towels in reaching distance to her counter surfing
🏃‍♀️🏃🏃‍♂️you’ll be running circles around the house after her. Don’t say I didn’t warn you 😉
#tbt A super fun night supporting the @juniorleag #tbt A super fun night supporting the @juniorleagueofbocaraton with my partner-in-crime @localmomscoop @fourmakers and @theaddison executive chef, Patrick Duffy.

Today we celebrated the life of Heather McMechan, someone I am eternally grateful came into my life, and devastated has left this earth. The church was filled with people that loved her - not one person that crossed her path couldn’t NOT love her.

Forever in my heart ❤️
