I’m not the chef in my household, but when it comes to popcorn recipes I’m always looking for tastiest ones!

Popcorn is my all time favorite snack.  I have to admit that there were quite a few times I agreed to go to the movies just so that I could eat popcorn.  I am completely content with lightly salted, freshly popped popcorn but have been trying out some fun and creative popcorn recipes.  Below are ten super delicious options for the next time you have a movie night at home or just want to spice up your snack!

DIY MICROWAVE POPCORN WITH A BROWN LUNCH BAG!

After reading reports that microwave popcorn may contain dangerous chemicals, I have made the decision to either purchase pre-popped popcorn or pop it in a healthier manner.  I came across this DIY microwave popcorn post by Thrifty Jinxy and couldn’t wait to try it out!  It was SO easy and it worked!

GARLIC PARMESAN POPCORN

Simple, but elevated, this recipe for garlic parmesan popcorn.  Retro Housewife Goes Green’s recipe doesn’t even call for you to pop the popcorn!  She uses one of my favorite popcorn brands – Skinny Pop!

M&M POPCORN BROWNIES

Sweet and savory all in one delicious treat!  Thrifty Jinxy created this de-licious recipe mixing the sweetness of chocolate and the saltiness of popcorn (oh, did I mention marshmallows too?!) to make a unique snack that kids and adults will love.

CIRCUS POPCORN

Gluten-free, vegan and easy to make, this is one of those popcorn recipes by Strength and Sunshine that is kid-approved!  There are a few more steps to this recipe than the ones above, but it is worth the time!

HOMEMADE CARAMEL POPCORN

Marci of My Heavenly Recipes introduced me to this heavenly popcorn recipe – caramel and popcorn – yes, please!  I also loved that she recommended it as a gift idea – especially for the holidays.  Have you ever gotten one of those prepackaged popcorn tins during the holiday season?  Wouldn’t it be awesome to make that popcorn yourself and gift it to your friends, neighbors, and family?
