Yes, there is a day dedicated to bubble gum and it happens to be today! Here are some little known facts about this celebrated candy!
The first bubble gum was pink in color because it was the only dye that Walter Deimer, from Fleet Chewing Gum Company had when he was experimenting with new gum recipes. Deimer was the accountant for Fleet – I found it interesting that he took an interest in product development as well.
The largest bubblegum bubble recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records is 26 inches.
