Wine-ing Wednesday – Wine Cocktails

You don’t have to drink JUST wine…why not create some fun wine cocktails with my favorite beverage?!

**Add a sweet twist to Moscato with this recipe, Princess of the Hive, by Redtree Wines.

**Here’s a take on one of my husband and my favorite drinks, the Palm Breeze. The sauvignon blanc brings a nice twist to a drink that helped commemorate our wedding at The Palms in Miami Beach.

1 part Midori

1 part Malibu

4 parts pineapple juice

1 part sauvignon blanc

**Wine is a staple for sangria.  Customarily we start with a rioja and add in sliced apple, oranges, lemon, lime, grapes – I think we need to make some this weekend for the 4th!  Switch out the rioja for a pinot grigio and then add sliced peaches and grapes for a crisper take on sangria.
