Sunnies

Such a cool word – “Sunnies”. “Sunnies” is another name for sunglasses (I believe of Australian descent), which I definitely need everyday living in Florida. Along with handbags, shoes and jewelry, I am very drawn to new sunnies. Ask my husband (although he cannot make fun of me because I believe the last time I counted his sunglasses, he was up to 6 pairs).

The newest edition to my collection are the Ray-Ban ‘New Wayfarers’:

I have always wanted a pair of Ray-Bans. I think I had a pair of black wayfarers when I was younger…they were prescription sunglasses. I saw these at the optical where I had my annual eye exam and had to have them. Classic.

Miu Miu Sunglasses, MU 04OS

I got these for our 10th anniversary. We had just finished dinner and were walking around the mall when I happened to stumble upon a sunglass store. The sales person must have seen the words “sunglass lover” and “had a glass of wine with dinner” on my forehead, because 20 minutes later I was walking out the door with these beauties! The color frame that I purchased has more of a grey calico print to it, but the heart shaped within the cat eye frame sold me!

Ray-ban Cockpit Aviator Sunglasses

These are a GREAT pair of sunnies. (Wow, didn’t realize I am on somewhat of a Ray-Ban kick). They are super lightweight and are the perfect size.
