Spring 2013 Trends

I have been so busy – where did January go??? BUT that is no excuse for not researching what the Spring 2013 trends are. When I shop for clothing, I buy mainly staples: good-fitting jeans, white t-shirts, black t-shirts, etc. – the basics. I then accent my wardrobe with highlights of the season’s trends. Below are some of the trends that I personally like. Which ones are your favorites?

Black and White – that describes my closet to a T – literally! This Spring “Black and White” refers more to black and white together in the shirt, or pants, or skirt.

Statement Sunglasses – I have always loved larger sunglasses. Besides their great fashion statement, they protect more area around your eyes from the sun! Here are some of my faves:

Stripes – I have always loved stripes, usually gravitating towards either blue and white or black and white, but this season there are colorful stripes…so much better!
