My highly anticipated gift guide for the beauty enthusiast is finally here! Throughout the year I am testing new beauty products – skincare, makeup, nail polishes, and more.
My favorites get added to this annual gift guide. Stay tuned to additions throughout the month!
BATH & BODY CARE WITH A TWIST
When I was first introduced to Me Care’s line of bourbon-infused body care, I had to try it out for myself. Founded by Melissa Happel, an expert with over 25 years in the beauty industry, wanted to capture her love for the industry and her home state of Kentucky’s most recognized commodity – bourbon!

I tried both the body scrub and lotion and found the scent to be distinct but in no way overwhelming. My skin felt refreshed and hydrated – and super smooth!
Choose from bath bombs, shower bombs, body scrubs, butters, lotions, and bath bars. Pricing ranges from $10 for the bath bars to $30 for the scrubs, making them a great gift option.
BIOHYALUX SERUMS AND MASKS
My skin is super dry, regardless of the season. Even though I drink a lot of water and moisturize with what I thought was a quality lotion each morning, my skin still needs more.

I was gifted Biohyalux’s HA Brightening & Boosting Serum to test out. For the past 7 days I have used the serum in the mornings alongside my usual skincare routine, and can attest that my skin looks brighter. I’ve been avoiding the sun and wearing SPF, and the sallowness I had previously seems to be going away!
The main ingredient, hyaluronic acid, is suitable for all skin types. All products in the line are environmentally friendly, cruelty free, certified ISO-14001-2015, and synthetic fragrance-free.
There’s a variety of other serums targeting specific skin types. Pick the one best for your gift recipient – they will thank you for it!
Retail: $64
The HA Ultimate Hydration Mask is heavenly. I have used two so far (one a week for the past two weeks) and love the feel of my skin afterward.

I apply while watching TV after the boys go to bed, and leave it on for about 20 minutes. After I remove the mask, I rub in the ingredients and then squeeze the remainder left in the packet to apply to my neck and décolleté.
Retail: $25.30 for 7 masks
BEAUTY TOOL & BRUSHES
Every year at this time I keep my eyes open for specials when it comes to makeup tools and brush kits. A few caught my eye this season – and most of them are on sale (YAY)!
I also added in the drying brush that has been a game changer for my morning hair routine. The tweezer set makes a great stocking stuffer!
MAKEUP FAVORITES
It’s hard for me to pick just one makeup brand to call my “favorite” because there are certain products from certain brands that I love. Below are some of my favorites that I feel would make great gifts!
Jo Malone has become my go-to for scents. I currently am swooning over the cardamom and mimosa spray, but there are so many others that are equally as beautiful!
Bobbi Brown was introduced to me by my mom back when I was in college. I like the neutral eyeshadow colors, lipsticks and glosses.
Can’t forget nail polish! Deborah Lippman is a favorite for me. Gift the whole box or break up the set for stocking stuffers!
