Yes, a new subscription box came in the mail for me. My first ever Peach & Lily box arrived a while ago and I have been so bad about sitting down to write about it until now. The time that has passed did give me a chance to review most of the beauty products enclosed so I can give you a full review instead of just a sneak peek!
Let me give you a little background on Peach & Lily…this company and box is a bit different than the ones I have been getting in the past. All products included are from Asia for US Consumers. I’ve always read in the magazines and online about how all of these new, innovative products that come to market are all “birthed” from Asia, so I had to check out some for myself!
First impression – cool box! When I opened it, there was a handwritten note (great personal touch…I adore anything personalized and handwritten notes).
Such a nice touch! OK now on to the box contents…
- SMOOTHIE WATERPROOF PENCIL LINER: This was the first product I tried, as it is something I use daily! It was definitely smooth going on and lasted all day. Retail $12.00
- VITA LEMON SPARKLING POWDER: I have yet to try this as the directions require you to fill a bowl with water, empty the contents of the first packet into the bowl, then the second packet, then apply. I kept forgetting to get a bowl from downstairs, so that is my forgetfulness coming into play. I will try it and report back. I should just go downstairs now and get a bowl but then I will not finish this post…Retail $3.00
- CLEAN IT ZERO: I had never tried a cleansing balm and this one is AWESOME. You apply this to your dry face first, rinse and then apply a water-based cleanser. Yes, it is an extra step but it took my make up off with no problem. Retail $22.00
- NON-STIMULUS FACE POLISHER: This reminds me of the Sonya Dakar version but better…you apply it to your dry face, let it sit for about 30 seconds and then rub it off (gently). It exfoliated my skin and left it super soft. I use it once a week before I go into the shower. Retail $29.00
- TRIPLE BRIGHT WHITE BLOOM FLORAL CREAM: This has become my new morning moisturizer. It is not heavy and I believe it has decreased the hyper pigmentation I have acquired on my cheeks. Retail $72.00
- CORRECT COMBO LIP GLOSS: This was definitely a vibrant color lip gloss! It wouldn’t be my “everyday” color, but a good choice for going out with the girls one night. Retail $16.00
- CREMORLAB TRAVEL KIT: I haven’t tried this yet (I haven’t traveled) but am excited to pack it for when we go to Vegas!! Retail $17.00
- EARRINGS: the pair was complimentary, and although not my style, they were super cute! Retail $30.00
Would I try this box again? Maybe. It was $49 so there was a bit of an investment in comparison to the other boxes I have subscribed to in the past BUT I received full sized items totaling $201!! Beside the value within the box, I have been using and am happy with the products themselves. I find them very useful in my daily/weekly beauty routine!
What are your thoughts on the Peach and Lily box? Would you sign up?
