Day two began with this view…
It was so beautiful to see the towering hotels framing out the gorgeous mountains in the background. I admired the view (from inside the room as it was about 40 degrees out LOL) before getting ready for the big day.
I kind-of had an idea of what to expect at the actual show, but was blown away when I actually arrived. The first booth we visited was the LG booth. To come into one of the four areas of this show – the main area – and see this booth was, well, WOW! The entire entrance to this booth was framed in huge flat-panel 3-D TVs. Once you were given the 3-D glasses, you experienced 3-D like nothing ever. What a wow-factor!
Inside you are encased in the world of LG. From TVs (4K and OLAN were so amazingly impressive with their clarity and slim-ness) to kitchen appliances to personal electronics – no stone was unturned. I loved this one small personal electronic – you take a picture with your smartphone and then send the photo via Bluetooth to this small super cool device that detects the photo and then heat transfers it onto paper. That simple. No ink needed. Just photo paper.
Samsung had a similarly cool booth that showcased their uber-cool TVs, household appliances, and smartphones.
We came across this game station that was made up of a touch screen flat TV. You could play games such as nok hockey, and many more other games, by using your hands – nothing else…oh, did I mention it was somewhere around $15K? Yeah…LOL
One of the most innovative booths that we came across was Cubify’s. Cubify has created a printer that can print in 3-D. It is AMAZING to watch these machines create whatever you can think of from paper to 3-D. This is the machine…
creates these unbelievable items…shoes??? I need one!
Definitely check out www.cubify.com. I have nothing to do with them other than being a huge fan!!
A lot of booths showcased eye-catching cars…
By the end of our day, we had walked 15,000 steps. Time to go back to the hotel and rest so that we could enjoy an amazing dinner. Have you ever been to CES? If not, is there a convention or trade show that you have attended that you enjoyed? Post below!!
