September Birchbox Review!

I was a bit hesitant when I received my September Birchbox in the mail.  I honestly felt that my August one was less than stellar – in terms of the products and the SHAPE the products arrived to me.  The ONE product I was interested in was all busted up and must have smushed across the entire box.  I do have to say though, Birchbox Customer Service was super responsive.  I was very appreciative of that, and that is why I continued my subscription…and so glad I did!

This box was GREAT!!  I received the following:

• Foamily Clean Facial Wash and Refined Finish Facial Polish by Benefit Cosmetics – I tried it the other night and think this is the first item from Birchbox’s kits that I am going to purchase the full size of!  The cleanser made my face feel super clean, and not dry which bothers me.
• Caudalie Vinexpert Firming Serum – I learned about Caudalie from my friend Anouk when I went to Paris.  We were talking about skin care and she was using some of their products at the time.  I had to try them out for myself and still use them to this day.  The great thing about buying them in Paris is that they are available in the pharmacy and are half the price than in the US!!
• Color Club Nail Polish –  the color I received was this rich dark grey color.  I love it and can’t wait to try it out this weekend!
• Dr. Jart+ Water Fuse Balm SPF 25+ – It’s a BB!  I have been wondering about BBs, as they are becoming more and more talked about in my magazines and online.  I have to finish my current facial moisturizer and will then try this one.  I can’t wait because it is labeled as the four-in-one moisturizer, serum, sunscreen and skin-perfecting tint.  It takes the place of four products…HELLO!!
• twistband hair tie – I just bought a trio of these at Nordy’s and am so excited to have one more!!!  They are great for pulling your hair back and not getting an annoying crease when you remove them.
• tili bag – this was a cute plastic bag to place your cosmetic or other items in.
• Madewell discount – SO EXCITED…need to use this…it is burning a hole in my Birchbox!
• Fall Look Book – first of Birchbox’s kind.
