As part of my Fashion on a Budget series, I did some research on companies that “rent” clothing. Let’s say you have an event to go to – wedding, dinner party, big birthday bash – and you don’t have anything to wear nor do you want to go out and purchase something that you’ll probably only wear once. This is where Rent the Runway comes in. I was skeptical about how their process works and if they really are the authority when it comes to fashion. They are!
In researching, I learned that there are 152 different Fashion Weeks around the globe each year, with 5 variations in NY alone. How can any one person keep up with the hottest and latest trends in designer couture? Good news! If you are in the market to wear the most popular designer dresses straight out of Fashion Week (at least some of them), and save some money as you do so, then you are ready for Rent the Runway.
Take a look at Rent the Runway’s Fall Trend Watch. Starting with The It List, Rent the Runway walks you through the colors and patterns of accessories from Helmut Lang to Lulu Frost, then introduces you to the elements of Rugged Chic, highlights the Designers to Watch, informs you on what to wear on a Night Out and so much more. Style tips are sprinkled liberally throughout so that your high fashion look is complete. No guessing, no fashion faux pas—just elegant beauty at an affordable price. The Rent the Runway Fall Trend Watch follows and reports on what is vogue across the fashion world—so you don’t have to!
