Italy was where we first started to love wine. Unfortunately we didn’t have time in our schedule to visit wineries but you bet we are going to do so on our next trip there! I was curious to see what Italian wine regions produced the different wines so as to better plan our future venture, and came across this awesome map from Wine Folly (already purchased…so excited!).
Based on this map by Wine Folly, I want to focus on the northeast regions – Lombary, Trentino Alto Adige and Fiuli-Venezia Giulia – because of the pinot grigio, pinot noir, and sauvignon blanc. Where would you choose to go?
