I think you know me pretty well. I am a full-time working mom of two boys. I love shopping, reading, blogging. I was trying to think of some little known facts about myself.
- I was on a lacrosse team when I was in high school. Little me and a bunch of my friends – there were 3 sets of twins on our team, 2 Taras, I think there were 2 Heathers also. We may have lost all but 2 games the entire season, and after that season the league made a rule that no teams were allowed to sign up unless their school had a lacrosse team (oddly enough our team was the only one that rule affected) – BUT we were the most fashionable team.
- When I was little I was shot in the face with a bow and arrow. Well, I told my parents that. When I came home from camp one day, my mom asked me where I got the scratch from so I told her that my camp counselor shot me in the face with a bow and arrow. (We were supposed to be at Free Swim, but instead she dragged us to archery. We were all a bit mad about that.) Poor counselor, bad me.
- I learned how to complete a 1040 form when I was in 5th grade. I also was introduced to yoga, performed in the play Hansel and Gretel in German and Madame Butterfly in Japanese. The sad thing is that the only thing that I remember is yoga LOL.
- I can knit and crochet! I’m definitely rusty, but it is very therapeutic. I used to go to Starbucks with my friend Lauren during lunch, and we would grab a coffee and crochet. That was over 3 years ago. Poor G will one day get the blanket I began…
- I love animals of any shape or size. When I finally was allowed to get a kitten, I invited When I was little, I used to pick up all of ants on my back patio, put them in my doll stroller, and roll them around the backyard.
Tell me something about you that I may not know!
