Happy New Year to my fellow Jewish readers! Rosh Hashanah is one of the two high holy holidays of the year – Yom Kippur being the second, in ten days time.
Rosh Hashanah is the time to reflect on the past year and spend time with your family. From sundown this evening through sundown on the 26th, Rosh Hashanah marks the completion of the created world.
I am not religious, but love the symbolism and family time that comes along with this sacred holiday. I look forward to spending time with my family, eating delicious food and talking about the past year.
In honor of the New Year falling on a Wednesday, I wanted to share this article – Three Manischewitz Cocktails for the New Year (Vinepair).
Who doesn’t think of this super-sweet wine when it comes to the Jewish holidays?
