On the Injured List

Not really, but I feel that way 🙁

So about 2 weeks ago, I must have done something to my ankle and heel when I was working out because now, I am in pain 🙁  Why did it take me almost 2 weeks to do something about it, you may ask?

  1. I tried to ignore it…something I don’t recommend and give crap to anyone that does that.  At the first sign of a green booger with my boys – I am freaking out.
  2. I tried to stretch it out.  “OUCH!  Oh don’t worry, I’m fine…the ankle is just tight”.  Not really…
  3. It may mean that I cannot work out and, I can so honestly say, I love to work out!!!
  4. I have no time.  With this comment – I promise I have realized that I do need to take care of myself so that I am healthy enough to take care of my family and friends…it took a while to realize that but when I started to feel pain in my heel from just normal walking, I knew something had to be done.  AND who wants to hear me complain?

I went to the doctor, got some xrays – everything looks OK (except for something unidentified in my fourth toe…that may be a whole other blog post).  I am off to the podiatrist tomorrow, with ankle brace on…and ready to find out WTF happened to me.  I’ll keep you posted – I know you are waiting on bated breath (haha).
