As I sit here collaborating for this installment of Five for Friday, I am looking out my bedroom window to a beautiful sunset over the lake behind my house. It is so serene. Then I hear my little guy from the play room, saying “butt” over and over again in different voices. So serene LOL. Hubby went out to dinner with his friend which leaves me to my own devices…peace and quiet (almost), my magazines, my book, and my blog. Enjoy my Five for Friday and have a great weekend!
I had to start with this video. It was sent to me this morning and I couldn’t stop watching it. I laughed, watched some more, laughed again, watched, laughed. It is so silly that it is hysterical. It makes me want to get a Roomba, cat and a shark costume.
When my sister was down here visiting in April she made these amazing tomatoes. I am not a huge tomato fan – I like tomato sauce and ketchup but when it comes to just “a tomato” I would opt out. These tomatoes were AWESOME. You need to try them!
I am guilty of using plastic water bottles. We practically support Zephyrhills and other bottled water companies and I am almost embarrassed after reading this article on the truth about plastic water bottles. Did you know that bottled water doesn’t have to be tested under the same guidelines as tap water? That and some other disturbing facts have solidified my decision to go with either stainless steel or glass water bottles and my own filtered water. Now to break the hubby of the habit…
I love to cuddle, and one of the reasons I opted for a goldendoodle (aside from the fact that they are smart, hypoallergenic, and so freakin’ cute) is that they are BIG, so I can hug them and cuddle with them. Sadie is the BEST hugger around. Here are some other dogs that don’t believe in personal space because cuddling is much more important. Which one is your favorite?
I think my youngest son would FREAK if his room had a wall like this…I may just have to do this (on a smaller scale – I still hate stepping on them!).
I’d love to hear of what you’d like to see more of on Fridays (or any day for that matter). Comment below or email me at dana@pellerini.com. Happy Friday!

Lol on the cat dressed as a shark, and personal space.
