Besides working an extremely demanding job where she travels more than any person I know, managing dozens of people, planning super creative and fun training meetings for her team, my friend Michelle has the time to research and find insanely delicious treats.
She graciously invited the family over for a Labor Day BBQ (which was wonderful – from the Pina Coladas to the fajitas and this delish dessert).
Here’s what you need:
- Pillsbury (or any other brand will do) break-apart cookies (found in the refrigerated section of the supermarket)
- Reeses Pieces peanut butter cups
- Non-stick spray
- Mini muffin pan
Here’s what you need to do:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
- Spray the mini muffin pan with a non-stick spray
- Break apart the cookie dough and place one cookie in each muffin space.
- Bake in the oven, checking periodically.
- While the cookies are baking, remove the wrappers from the Reeses Pieces peanut butter cups (one for each cookie)
- Once the cookies look like they are starting to cave in a bit and bubble, take the pan out.
- Quickly place one peanut butter cup in the middle of each cookie.
- Place the pan back into the oven and check frequently. Once the cookies look “gooey” take out.
- Let cool and then place on a tray and ENJOY!!
