‘Tis the season…for mailing out holiday cards! At the same time that I find this a little bit of a chore, I still love it. I am the person that sends, via snail mail, birthday cards and anniversary cards (I try…that one is a bit harder to remember).

I get a little obsessed with the whole process, going from website to website looking for the PERFECT card that is not “too Christmas-y”.
I recommend checking out Tiny Prints, Shutterfly, and Treat.com for the best selection in cards in all different price points.
In the midst of that, I am also hunting for the PERFECT photo of the boys to put on the perfect card. After my eyes start crossing, I give in, and then I stress about the mailing list.
Do I have everyone’s most up-to-date address? This is when my friends and family receive the email with the subject, “Address Please”. 🙂
Export all of that into a spreadsheet and I am almost ready to go. I have some time to spare between when I order the cards and they actually arrive. That is when I remind myself numerous times to buy the Avery address labels, with intentions of saving myself from cramped hands (writing out all of the addresses) by printing, peeling and sticking.
I ask my husband to please pick up the stamps (he goes to the post office daily for his businesses – score!) and wait…the cards come and I have hopefully purchased and printed up the address labels. Last year I didn’t have the labels at home when the cards arrived, and I am so OCD and HAD to get the cards out ASAP – I wrote everyone’s address. That will probably happen again this year. LOLOLOL
What is your favorite website or store to purchase your holiday cards? Do you make photo cards? Do you hand sign each of them (nice touch if you do!!)? Post below!

Hi Dana! If you need a way to make sure your holiday card list is always up-to-date (or if you need to gather addresses for a holiday card list to start with), check out http://www.conxt.com. It’s totally free, makes it super easy to get and update mailing addresses, and will save you all the copy/pasting between email and excel 🙂 And, you can export all your addresses to CSV to use at your favorite card retailers, or print labels directly from conXt.
