April 2016 Trendsend Reveal & Review
There’s nothing better than to find a Trendsend box at my doorstep. Although it arrived a day after my Wantable box, I equally welcomed it (my husband may not have felt the same way). Check out what I received and tell me what you like/dislike!
Sanctuary Peace Trooper Pants: These pants are so cute and fit SO well. I could see pairing with a cute t-shirt (really any color would work), or a tank top and a denim shirt. The only drawback was the price tag at $129. If this pair was a solid color – more of a classic or staple color – I would possibly consider keeping it because I could see it lasting more than one season. Camo really hasn’t gone out of style in a long time but you never know…
Michael Stars Drawstring Shorts: My first impression was that these shorts are going to be super comfy – and they are! I like the print and can easily pair this with a simple t-shirt or tank top, throw them over a bathing suit, or just for lounging around.
Junk Food Adventure Raglan Tank: Junk Food is one of my favorite brands when it comes to fun and whimsical t-shirts. This one is fits the bill perfectly. I’d pair this particular muscle tank with a pair of cut-off jean shorts.
Peyton Jensen Ribbed Racerback Tank: A staple for any seasons’ wardrobe, this tank is perfect to layer under another tank top, t-shirt or on its own. I really liked the blush color.
Allison Joy Rowan Sleeveless Denim Shirt: Lightweight and versatile, this sleeveless button down would look great with a tank beneath and any bottom really or over a maxi dress. The neutral color works well with just about anything!
Free People Galloon Lace Racerback: These bralets caught my eye last time I was in Nordy’s but I passed them up, not really knowing how I would wear it. I loved the color – blue is my favorite! After trying it on and pairing it with all three of the outfit options my stylist picked for me, I realized what a versatile piece this could be in my wardrobe.
Sunnyside Tie Waist Tank Dress: I love stripes and just by looking at the dress out of the box, I knew it was going to be a keeper. Perfect for the cruise I had planned for the beginning of this month, I tried it on and it was a perfect fit! I liked how the top portion was not form fitting, but the bottom half was (I’m laughing as I type this because now that I think about it, that may not have been intentional.)
Excelsior Stone and Tassel Pendant: Tassels are all the rage this season and this necklace, on sale for only $10 would’ve been a keeper if I didn’t have so many already. Especially after reading The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up, I had to take a deep breath and put this one back in the box.
Overall my stylist did a GREAT job. I can see myself wearing each of the pieces. The best part about these clothing subscription boxes is that I am introduced to many different items that I wouldn’t necessarily choose in a store. The convenience is also an amazing factor, especially with Trendsend – my stylist picks outfits, making it foolproof.

Cute stuff! I think my favorite is the “say yes to new adventures” tank!
That tank is a favorite of mine too! I love shirts with cute sayings on them (and I love Junk Food).
I tried TrendSend one month but I didn’t love them, unfortunately. I love the necklace they sent you though. That’s adorable!

Glad they sent some clothes that will really work well for you and your lifestyle! That is a really cute necklace and not a bad price, either, but I understand not wanting to keep something too similar to what you already have!
Rachel, I used to keep pieces because “oh, it’s on sale” or “it’s a great price”. One day I looked in my closet and there were so many of the same things – I guess my taste is consistent BUT I now hold back a little bit better before purchasing stuff.

I’d never heard of Trendsend boxes before, but what a great idea! I especially love those Draw String Shorts, they look so comfy and perfect for the nicer weather.
