I’m always on the lookout for great new brands and products to try and then share with you! I’ve been trying out quite a few, so I’ve decided to start a monthly product haul post that will give you insight to the latest and greatest (or not-so-greatest). Click on any of the titles to learn more about the products and purchase if you’d like. Some of the links are affiliate links, so if you do purchase via them, I may get compensated (it doesn’t increase your cost at all, it just helps me to keep Pellerini up and going!)
Belli CORRECT: Stretchmark Minimizing Cream
Belli was gracious enough to send me a bunch of their gluten-free, paraben-free products to test out. No, I am not pregnant and you don’t have to be pregnant to use their products BUT this line was created by moms who were pregnant and searching high and low for products that were safe and effective.
My all-time favorite product sent over is their Belli CORRECT: Stretchmark Minimizing Cream. I’ve been using it in the AM and PM, as directed, and have seen a significant different in the appearance of my stretchmarks. Not kidding. I love this stuff! Their lip balm, body lotion, and facial hydrator are all great as well, but that Stretchmark Minimizing Cream amazed me.
Bobbi Brown Art Sticks
I’ve been a Bobbi Brown fan for years and years. I was introduced to her products back when I was interning for Chris Every Charities, so that is like an eon ago! I was super excited to receive her art stick collection – 13 of them to be exact – in the mail.
These squeezable tubes of very pigmented liquid lipstick have become my go-to for when I want a bold lip. I love that they aren’t too matte or too glossy – just a perfect semi-matte color that lasts the majority of my day. All you have to do is squeeze a little bit out onto the tip of the tube and then “paint” your lips. There are 19 colors in total, definitely something for every taste.
Milk Makeup Blur Stick
When I first received the package of three blur sticks, I was a bit confused. I’d never heard of Milk and didn’t understand what the blur sticks did. I am not overly makeup savvy, so this all falls on me. I did a bit of recon and was so excited to try this stick out. I happen to have large pores on my cheeks, something that irks me a lot. This colorless, non-greasy primer helps to “blur” them so that they aren’t as visible. The Blur Stick also helps your other makeup stay longer – score!
I am so glad that I was introduced to Milk – their products are paraben-, sulfate- and phthalate -free, and eco-conscious.
Milk Makeup Eye Pigment
Wow! These cream eye shadows pack a punch of gorgeous color. I just have to put a small dot on my finger and lightly blend it on my eyelids. No creasing, just the right amount of shimmer, and 11 different colors to choose from.
coloreScience Sunforgettable Brush-On Sunscreen
Another new brand for me, colorescience, created this amazing brush-on sunscreen with SPF 50 UVA/UVB. It comes in 4 different shades and is super easy to apply. Activate the powder in the brush base and brush it all over your face. I like that it is super light and lasts for about 2 hours. I have one in my bag and one in the car.
colorescience Mineral Corrector Palette
This palette is great because it provides 5 different shades to cover any imperfection. I have think skin around my eyes, so there is a high tendency for the veins to show. I mix a couple of the shade together to help and “hide” them – all with SPF 20.
colorescience Tint du Soleil SPF 30 UV Protection Foundation
This water-resistant foundation is my new go-to for when I am prepping to go out. During the day, I usually throw on some mascara, eyeliner and gloss, but at night I like to have my skin looking super dewy and smooth. I like that this foundation in particular is hydrating – it goes on smoothly and isn’t cake-y.
Product Haul Summary
This month was a win-win when it came to products. Please know that I am giving my 100% honest opinion when it comes to anything that I write about. If the product doesn’t meet my expectations, you’ll know. Stay tuned to next month’s reviews!
