Happy National Chocolate Chip Day!

When I was little, the only way my parents would let me eat my chocolate chip cookies was with a big glass of milk.  To this day, I still have to have a huge glass of milk with my Chips Ahoy Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies!

Every night, when I was pregnant with each of my boys, I would sit down on the couch and watch TV with my husband – and devour a whole row of cookies!  Gestational diabetes did get in the way a bit, but it didn’t stop me!  I used to hide a package of cookies in my nightstand drawer.  (Later on, they were discovered by my youngest son…and I noticed because slowly the package would become empty and I knew it wasn’t all from me…)
