I had a fun time putting together this gift guide for foodies because I just had to think of gifts my husband would like to receive. He doesn’t read my blog that much, so he may be getting some of these under the tree (watch, he starts to read my blog today…). OK, on to the fun stuff!
Pellerini’s Gift Guide for Foodies
MICROWAVE POPCORN POPPER (1): I’m loving this because I keep hearing about all of the terrible chemicals that are emitted when you eat the pre-bagged microwave popcorn. It’s scary! It’s all glass and comes with an optional butter melter. At only $14.99 this could also be a great option if you’re part of an office gift exchange or something!
SELF-WATERING VEGGIE KIT (2): This is great, especially for the foodies that don’t have green thumbs (that would be ME!). Perfect for apartment dwellers!
SMOKE DETECTOR DEACTIVATION TOWEL(3): This is my favorite. I can bet that the gift recipient you’re shopping for doesn’t have this towel in their kitchen (although make sure they have a good sense of humor…). The design is hand-screen printed onto the towel – I love it!
KABOB GRILLING BASKET (4): The fun thing about kabobs is you can make any combination of protein and veggie and/or fruit that you’d like. These baskets are awesome because everything stays put – you don’t lose any veggies on the grill as they are self-contained in the basket. So great!
THE CHARCUTERIE SHACK (5): We are all about the charcuterie in this house. There are some nights that we break out some cheeses, meat, nuts, olives and crackers and a nice glass of wine and that’s dinner! They were kind enough to send me some of their soppresata, fuet and chorizo that were out of this world! I saved some for the next time we have dinner guests over (if they last that long…).
BRISTLE FREE GRILL BRUSH (6): I’m sure you’ve heard about the concern with using grill brushes with bristles. There have been a few stories in the news of the bristles turning up in peoples’ food. No bueno. It features two continuous springs to get the grease and food off your grill grates, but has no rough edges to cut you, or dangerous metal bristles that could fall out and get into your food.
Which of the gift ideas above are going to go on your shopping list?
