You meet so many people during your lifetime, it’s amazing. Some people are just acquaintances – the ones you say hello to in the hallways at work, wave to in the neighborhood, or chat with at the grocery store check-out line.
Some you are closer with, yet the friendship dissipates away after some time – whether it is that you physically moved away or emotionally grew apart.
Then there are your friends that you are super close with – they know everything about you. They can tell your mood by just looking at you or hearing your voice. You don’t necessarily talk to them everyday, or even every week, yet when you talk next it is as if time never passed. They accept you for who you are and will tell you when you are wrong (and when you are right). They ask nothing of you – although you want to give them the world because they are so wonderful and visa versa.
Whether I have known them since I was three or met them recently – I am so thankful to have friends like the latter in my life.
