It’s My Birthday!

Yes, today I am officially not 21 (by a lot).  I woke up to my husband and boys singing the trademark song – and at 8 AM no less!   Sleeping late is a gift that keeps on giving 🙂

I am so excited – beside the fact that it is my birthday, Pellerini Proclaims’ Facebook page has reached 2,000 fans!!!  WHOO HOO!  I think that calls for a giveaway…it’s in the works.

ALSO – I reached my goal weight!!  That is super exciting to me!  It is such a great feeling and so rewarding to see the hard work (and lack of carbs) pay off.  I have to say I am proud of myself, and thankful to my support system for their help along the way.  I am still going to exercise 3x a week and keep along the same path with watching my food intake.  (Maybe not tonight.)

Today I am going to relax, maybe go to a nearby nature center with the fam, and then have a fabulous dinner with my husband.  Speaking of our dinner – that almost didn’t happen!  I guess because we have been so busy with the kids, work, and life in general, we didn’t really think about a birthday dinner.  It came up when my dad asked me what we were doing Saturday night and if we wanted him and Mom to come up and watch the boys so we could go to dinner.  HOW NICE AND AWESOME IS THAT??????  Thanks Dad and Mom!

Tomorrow my birthday continues as we are going with my parents to see Cirque Du Soleil’s Dralion.  I am soooooooooo excited!  I’ll try to sneak some pictures so I can post them here.
