I am a self-proclaimed soup aficionado, mostly because I love soup that much. I can have it for any meal or snack or any time in between. Being that Fall is around the corner (yes, I said it…Fall is around the corner), I figured no time like the present to break out some soup recipes of my own as well as ones from some very talented food bloggers I admire!
Tortellini en Brodo
Every time I eat this soup, it brings me back to my honeymoon in Italy. We ordered this dish on one of the first nights we were in Rome and it set the (delicious) tone for the rest of our amazing time there.

Chicken Soup
There is nothing, and I mean NOTHING, like homemade chicken soup. I learned how to make this “Jewish penicillin” from my mama. It was so much fun spending this quality time with her while learning a recipe that is passed down from generation to generation. I can vouch that it has cured many a common colds and makes you feel so content and happy. Add some matzoh balls to this recipe and you’re set!
Creamy Pumpernut Soup
Don’t you just love to say the word “pumpernut”? I came across this recipe via Domestically Blissful and had to try it out. Wow…the taste is phenomenal – I love the combination of pumpkin and butternut squash and had to hold off not going a little crazy with the cinnamon and pumpkin spice seasoning as they both scream “Fall” and taste sooooooo good!

Autumn Minestrone Soup
This is one of the only soups that contain beans that I will eat. I’m not a huge bean fan, but when they are combined with hearty vegetables such as in this Autumn Minestrone Soup by Culinary Ginger, I tend to overlook them. (I also know they are super healthy, so that helps too!)

Italian Wedding Soup
The first time I was introduced to Italian Wedding Soup was when I was interning for Christ Evert Charities’ celebrity tennis tournament. We used to always order from this one place that made the best chicken salad and Italian wedding soup. Since my husband loves to cook and I am gluten-free, we created our own version of the soup and it is just as good!
Vegetarian Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup
You are not alone if you had to read that soup name a few times. It’s not often that we see “vegetarian” and “chicken” in the same sentence. Conventional chicken is replaced with Gardein chicken strips, so I am sure you can swap the Gardein strips (and the seasoning) for them.

Tomato Soup
I love the way my husband makes his homemade tomato soup, especially when he pairs it with our take on gluten-free grilled cheese.
Roasted Vegetable Soup
Another hearty soup perfect for cooler days (or if you live in Florida, for those days you put the air down extra low), this roasted vegetable soup is great the day after too!
Potato Soup
Can you say the yummiest potato soup with bacon? YUMMMMM
