I’ve seen advertisements for the BarkBox for a while now and I always thought it was a waste of money. Seriously? A subscription box for dogs?
The holiday season came around and I needed some gifts for Sadie, my furry daughter. Up pops an ad for BarkBox and I thought, “What the hey?”
I was so wrong about the waste of money. This is the cutest subscription box I have seen yet!
The red football – Sadie hasn’t put it down since she received it! It’s called the Sprong, and even though it squeaks every time it hits any surface, however soft or hard, Sadie loves it – so I love it.
I can’t wait to make the mutt meatballs for Sadie too…it says all you have to do is add one pound of lean meat to the package and pop in the oven. (If you know Sadie, then you know she gets a meatball regardless of this new addition, every time we cook the meat-a-balls!)
The Happy Howie’s treats passed Sadie’s rigorous approval process. They are super healthy and crunchy.
Don’t know if I am going to try the Licks – it is compared to a sports drink for dogs. Sadie doesn’t really exert too much energy – maybe when my mom comes over and she licks the heck out of her…other than that – not so much.
Overall, this is a great subscription box for dog lovers.
Note: I ordered this and paid for it all on my own – no one asked me to do this review, I loved the concept and the contents and wanted to share!
Want to try it out? As BarkBox says, I’d love to spread the ruv. You can sign up for one box to try it out, but I think you may get hooked!

That’s so cute! It’s about time someone came up with something like that for pet owners. Do they have a cat option or is it just for dogs? (found you through the SITS group! Loving your blog so far!)

Hi Alli! Right now I think it is only for dogs, but they should definitely create one for cats too! Thank you for the compliment on my blog 🙂
