Babies do not come with manuals. I’m sorry if I’m the first one to break the news to you, but when you deliver that bundle of joy, that is what you receive. He or she is placed into your arms, and voila – you are now the proud parent of a newborn human being! No instructions (but I am sure a lot of advice has been volunteered during the prior nine months!).
Regardless if it is your first, second, or third time it still feels brand new (or at least to me it did!). You prepare your home for the baby, read countless articles online and in magazines all touting “The MUST HAVE Items For Your Baby”. But are they?
The Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA)
This is where the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA) comes into play. JPMA is known as the voice of the industry on quality and safety for baby and children’s products in North America. Each year, JPMA helps to eliminate confusion when it comes to what products are best for your baby/child by hosting an amazing 2-day event, known as New Parent Days at The JPMA Show: Built for Baby.
Through advocacy, membership-based programming, and being “the source” for baby product information and education, JPMA is the go-to organization when it comes to finding safe and reliable products for your baby.
New Parent Days 2019
I am so excited to announce that New Parent Days is going to be in Orlando, Florida this year! Join thousands of new and expectant parents at one of the most-talked-about events in the industry. The Orange County Convention Center will be buzzing with parents of young children, babies, parents-to-be, and those planning to become pregnant.
Check out over 200 companies with products perfect for your little one! The excitement begins on Friday, April 12, from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Attendees can check out the latest innovations in baby gear, top brands, new parent education, product safety information and so much more! Enjoy mocktails, a special appearance by two of my favorite celebrity moms – Cat & Nat, giveaways and more! You can check out the full schedule here.
The fun continues on Saturday, April 13, from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m..
“The 2019 JPMA Show offers parents a unique opportunity to touch, demo and compare the latest products for babies and small children all in one place,” said Kelly Mariotti, JPMA Executive Director. “This is the country’s largest baby show, and you won’t find this kind of access to brands and experts anywhere else.”

What a great initiative this event is to benefit new parents and provide so much in the way of ideas, product displays and support. It would be worthwhile for many who don’t live anywhere near the venue to fly in to attend for the value they would receive in information and advice. Great that you also offer the discount as well – every bit of support for new parents always helps.
